Third Round of WWS Lands Shirley Top-5 Finish

Wednesday night brought on the third round of the 14th Annual Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Ariz.).

Shirley laid down the third fastest lap in his time trial group and went on to a third-place finish in his heat race. After starting ninth in the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event, Brian advanced to a fourth-place finish behind race winner Brandon Sheppard, Jimmy Mars, and Ricky Weiss. Chase Junghans completed the Top-5 finishers.
