Early exit in John Bradshaw Memorial at Ponderosa

Friday night found Brian Shirley in action at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) for the 15th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Drawing 25 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Shirley secured his spot into $12,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat race. The following night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tenn.) for the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals sanctioned contest, Brian failed to complete a lap in his heat race. Slated to start near the tail of his B-Main, Shirley was a scratch from the 12-lapper.
