Strong Finish For Shirley With The World Of Outlaw Late Models

FAIRBURY, Ill (October 7, 2023) A rough start of the weekend gave way to a strong run for Brian Shirley, who was on track with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series at Brownstown Speedway and Fairbury Speedway.
Credited with a 20th place finish on Friday at Brownstown, Shirley's night unfortunately ended on Lap 21.
Rolling into Fairbury on Saturday, things ended much better, with Shirley battling at the front of the field most of the race. Leading laps five and six, Shirley would ride runner-up until lap 43, where things would end up resulting in a sixth place finish.
